- March 20
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5). God knows what’s in our hearts, and the things we want most out of life. Asking for His guidance and trusting Him in everything we do lets Him bring us success.
- March 19
“They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed” (Psalm 34:5). Shame is a weapon the devil uses against us, but Jesus went to the cross on our behalf so that we never have to be ashamed of anything. When we focus on Him, He takes this burden from us, and our heavy spirits are lightened.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 54:17). This promise covers not just physical weapons, but also words spoken against us. When we walk humbly as God’s children and obey Him, those who speak evil of us will have their own words come back to them.

“The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life” (Proverbs 22:4, AMPC). God has an abundant, richly rewarding life for us that we can accept by submitting ourselves to Him. The world doesn’t understand this concept of godly humility, and many people mistake it for pride and self-effort when they see the manifestations of it in our lives.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Although part of being a Christian is learning godly humility, another part is about letting the Holy Spirit make us bold. When we understand God’s promises to us, we’re not afraid to come into His presence and accept His help in our lives.

“There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD” (Proverbs 21:30). The wisdom and counsel of the world often contradict the Word of God, but He’s the only dependable, unchanging truth we have. Wise individuals seek understanding from Him, and no other source.
- March 14
“Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles” (Proverbs 21:23). Words are powerful, and we can create problems for ourselves simply by what we say. To stay out of trouble, it’s wise to think first before we open our mouths.
- March 13
“The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool pours out folly” (Proverbs 15:2, AMPC). Our words can betray us if we speak carelessly. What’s in our hearts and minds comes out in what we say; therefore, our speech often reveals whether we place our confidence in ourselves, or in God.
- March 12
“When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom” (Proverbs 11:2, NKJV). Pride interferes with our relationship with God and leaves us open to shame. Agreeing with what He says in His Word and the promises He makes to us is true humility in action, and it displays godly wisdom.

“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause... O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee” (Psalm 25:2, 3, 20). The devil tries to use shame against us to hold us back from fulfilling God’s mission. Although those who disobey the Word can fall prey to shame’s destructive forces, our trust in God defeats this spiritual weapon.

“The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous” (Proverbs 15:29, NIV).
Accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior makes us righteous in the eyes of God. Prayer is a heart-to-heart conversation with God, and He always hears our prayers.
June 4
“Thus saith the Lord, ‘The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.’ The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, ‘Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee’” (Jeremiah 31:2, 3).
Grace is unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor from God. The children of Israel were in the wilderness, which may have seemed like the middle of nowhere, yet God knew exactly where they were. Likewise, no matter where we are or what circumstances we find ourselves in, God knows where we are and can still bless us.
June 3
“Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 144:15).
God’s promises for us include happiness, prosperity, abundance, strength, and good health. Solely relying on Him for direction and purpose in our lives allows these blessings to manifest in our lives.
June 2
“They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord—the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more” (Jeremiah 31:12, NIV).
God’s will is to bless us abundantly with every good thing. True happiness and joy come from the Lord; when we rely on Him, we want for nothing.
June 1
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).
God’s arrival on earth in the form of a man was heralded in advance, and He was born to us just as foretold. “Immanuel” means “God with us,” and He has promised never to leave us.
May 31
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10, NKJV).
The world is filled with evil and death; which is the handiwork of the devil (the god of the earth). However, there is one much more powerful than him, who has overcome the world. Jesus brings us eternal life, and victory over evil and death.
May 30
“I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches” (Psalm 119:14).
The world may be obsessed with money and wealth, but true riches come from the Word of God. Those with true wisdom will value His eternal truths more than gold, silver, or precious metals.
May 29
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Jehovah tells us multiple times in His Word that He’ll never leave us. He encourages us to stand strong, and not to fear any individual, circumstance, or situation. When He’s with us, no power in the universe is strong enough to stand against us.
May 28
“And in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place” (Deuteronomy 1:31, NKJV).
God loves us, His beloved children; just like an earthly father picks up and carries his children to safety in times of danger, so our heavenly Father will do that and more. No matter where we wander, He stays with us all the way to the end of our earthly journey.
